Asmadan

Asmadan Winery was established in 2017 in Gallipoli Peninsula Çanakkale, Northwest of Turkey. It has 60 hectares of vineyards in Thrace and the Aegean, including Manisa Salihli vineyards with sandy schist soil structure at an altitude of 750m and Çanakkale Eceabat vineyards at an altitude of 50 meters with clay loam soil structure. Day and night temperature differences in both regions ensure a homogeneous progression of the ripening process. Dominant winds also help the vines to breathe. In both vineyard areas, there are indigenous and international varieties such as Narince, Macabeo, Boğazkere, Öküzgözü, Karasakız, Tempranillo, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah, Petit Verdot, Cabernet Franc and nature-friendly viticulture practices are carried out on the basis of low yield. As a result of the effort to reach the good, working on the plantation of the varieties that have not been tried in the country and their adaptation to the soil is monitoring.

The production capacity of the facility, which was built in accordance with 1,000,000 bottles, is now 300,000 liters and production is carried out on the basis of gravity. The product range consists of rose, white and red dry wines.

Our ranges are:

Gönülden labels present Asmadan’s rose range, separately made with Cabernet Sauvignon, Öküzgözü and Syrah varieties.

Vals labels are white wines made with Narince Macabeo blend and Sauvignon Blanc monosepage.

Kor label is well balanced, med-range red with a touch of oak, dominated with four varieties, Öküzgözü, Boğazkere, Syrah, CS.

Kor Reserve series presents structured reds, aged 10 to 14 months in oak, suitable for aging in bottle.

Bağban ( Vigneron ) labels consist of two reds and a white, produced from old vines of Karasakız, Gamay and Semillon. This serie is a reflection of respect to vignerons in country and presents pure character of cepage and potential of old vines of the region.

There is an accommodation facility with 20 beds capacity, a restaurant and a cellar door in the winery area. And the first viticulture history museum of the country serves visitors in the same building.
