GULOR is the pioneer of Western style quality wine production in Turkey. Founded in 1993 by Guler Sabanci, GULOR is the first boutique wine producer in the country.

GULOR introduced international grapes to Turkey and produced the first Bordeaux style wine in 1998.

GULOR’s vineyards and winery was overseen by Nicolas Vivas from Bordeaux University for more than 20 years.

GULOR’s winery is in Sarkoy, in the Thrace region and the company will celebrate its 30th anniversary soon.

Our vineyard starts from an elevation of 47 metres and goes up to 350 metres on a hillside and it has a cool breeze coming from the sea.

Our vineyard has an argillaceous soil and we’re limiting the amount of grapes we get from each plant for an increased quality.

Our winery is in the vineyard, reducing our carbon footprint of transport. Respecting nature and sustainability is in the heart of our production process.

The guesthouse in the vineyard will be transformed into a boutique hotel in 2024 and it will be a valuable addition to the gastronomy tourism of Turkey.
