A vintage that was consistently overlooked in favour of the more famous 1961. This wine now is fully mature. Displaying tertiary aromas of dry leafs, hay and liquorice. On the palate it’s dry, with a noticeable acidity, tannins have soften down. It has a medium body with long length. It is very pleasant and I think it will be enjoyable for a few more years provided it’s been kept in good condition.
